Can Tasmanian Devils survive by adapting to devil facial tumour disease? This research will examine whether or not Tasmanian Devils are capable of adapting fast enough to survive the disease epidemic caused by a new contagious cancer, devil facial tumour disease, and evade extinction. Outcomes will determine long-term management responses to the disease and will set a benchmark for managing wildlife diseases worldwide.

This research into plant water transport aims to find a new way to understand whether plant species will die or adapt to a future drier climate.

It is becoming impossible to ignore the impact of global climate change on organisms around the world from changes in migration, distribution to extinction events - yet there is much to understand. This project examines the role of a changing environment during developmental and its effects on ecological and evolutionary outcomes.
