On-Chip Terahertz Nanophotonics for Single Molecule Spectroscopy. This project aims to address fundamental limitations of in-vivo terahertz spectroscopy by developing modular, low-cost, efficient chip-based devices that concentrate and generate intense terahertz fields in nanometer volumes. This project expects to develop new knowledge in the areas of terahertz physics, nonlinear optics and biospectroscopy using several innovative terahertz nano-focusing techniques.
