An international team of scholars will study language barriers in Australia's healthcare syste; arising from growing numbers of patients and clinicians not speaking English as their first language. The project's results will lay the foundation for future research and point to practical solutions.

This project will examine the sexual health beliefs and practices of women from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, who are recent migrants to Australia and Canada. This analysis will inform the development of guidelines for sexual health information, which will be evaluated as part of the project.

This project aims to explore how the unresolved issue of the missing people from the 1992-95 Bosnian conflict has affected the social identities, memories and settlement patterns of the survivors in three diaspora contexts in Australia, Sweden and The United States.
