Enhancing the Australian theme park experience by harnessing virtual-physical play. This project will deliver methodologies for designing games enriched by virtual-physical play. The project will contribute to furthering Australia's lead in the production of compelling theme park experiences, computer games and interactive training systems. The entertainment, digital media and information and communications technology industries will all benefit as a result.

This project aims to develop a 3-D animated program for adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) that alters the automatic biases arising from their everyday social communication difficulties (including via social media), which result in negative thought patterns and loneliness. Play it again: creating a playable history of Australasian digital games, for industry, community and research purposes. This project provides a unique account of the role played by computer games in familiarising the public to new technologies. The computer game industry grosses billions of dollars each year, and yet game technology is quickly superseded. This project redresses this gap by writing histories of the early digital age, and preserving key artefacts.

The challenge of preserving and accessing complex digital cultural heritage such as software is one that collecting institutions worldwide are facing.
