Summary
The passion, power, and politics of Aboriginal Art: established artists and emerging NSW women artists' perceptions and representational bias in collections. This project will conduct an in-depth analysis of the perspectives of established artists and emerging NSW Aboriginal women artists about the passion, power and politics of Aboriginal art and test the extent of collection bias of NSW artists' works. This project on Indigenous use of the internet aims to identify the reasons why Indigenous Australians are 69% less likely to access the Internet than their non-Indigenous counterparts as demonstrated in the last census.
