Summary
This 5-year research fellowship will focus on the identification of new genes in patients and families with inherited heart disease and sudden cardiac death. State-of-the-art genetic approaches will be used in linking our genetic findings with the clinical aspects of disease. This Fellowship will focus on the development of novel therapeutics for cancer, and identify mechanisms for selection of treatments best suited to individual patients. It will also develop innovative strategies to identify cancer through molecular imaging techniques.
