Network for Innovation in Research and Public Policy to Promote the Health and Wellbeing of Australia's Children and Young People. The network will build research enterprises that promote the health and well-being of children and young people through the enhancement of relevant public policy and civic institutions. It will bring together researchers from universities, government agencies, non-government organisations and peak bodies in recognition of the important research being done in and acro ....Network for Innovation in Research and Public Policy to Promote the Health and Wellbeing of Australia's Children and Young People. The network will build research enterprises that promote the health and well-being of children and young people through the enhancement of relevant public policy and civic institutions. It will bring together researchers from universities, government agencies, non-government organisations and peak bodies in recognition of the important research being done in and across these sectors. It will build on existing established, formal and informal relationships between researchers, as well as seek to forge new relationships. Religion and Urban Development in India: Planning Sustainable Cities. This project argues that religion influences urban development in India, and must inform policy. India's scale and speed of urbanisation makes its sustainable urban development critical globally, yet modernist urban planning has failed to address slum growth, poverty, gender inequality and ecological crises. Using interviews, archival research and fieldwork in six walled cities that clearly display the interactions of religion ....Religion and Urban Development in India: Planning Sustainable Cities. This project argues that religion influences urban development in India, and must inform policy. India's scale and speed of urbanisation makes its sustainable urban development critical globally, yet modernist urban planning has failed to address slum growth, poverty, gender inequality and ecological crises. Planning the 'creative' city: reconciling global strategies with local subcultures. Increasing land values in all major Australian cities are placing pressure on local creative initiatives. Displacement of small cultural producers and the consequent dispersal of local networks is damaging to the urban social and economic fabric. This research will assess the challenges to strong and thriving creative subcultures in gentrifying cities. This project looks at what, and how much, health work teachers undertake and how prepared they are to do this work.
