A Marine Cadastre for Australia - Addressing Key Scientific and Policy Issues. A marine cadastre provides a means for delineating, managing and administering legally definable offshore boundaries. Marine cadastre research was initiated in Australia under a previous ARC grant which aimed at defining issues affecting the development of an Australian marine cadastre. The current project focuses on four such issues :
(1) Resolving ambiguities in the definition of the tidal interface

Improved collaboration between the diverse contributors to design in the construction industry is urgently needed to reduce waste, streamline production and improve performance. It is also a key to better and more advanced design. The quality of human to human interaction in computer mediated environments is critical to the occurrence of innovation between design disciplines. Fish play an important role in many Australian's lives, they are a source of recreation for scuba divers, snorkelers and fishermen, they are a draw card for tourists as well as a healthy source of food. This project will investigate the visual world of fish, unravelling their use of colour communication, thereby identifying environmental factors affecting successful communication. Native plant mesocosm facility. Mesocosms allow ecological processes to be studied at scales intermediate between the field and laboratory. We will establish a native plant mesocosm, allowing us to accurately manipulate environmental factors such as soil moisture, mineral nutrients and temperature. This will enable us to assess how plants adjust resource allocation patterns and determine genotypic and phenotypic responses to varying environmental conditions. Kilwardby's commentary - which has not been critically edited, translated, or extensively studied - is remarkable for its fidelity to Aristotle's text, and its innovations in logical theory.
