International perspectives on the regulation of young people's user-generated content. This project will examine international regulatory strategies for explicit user-generated content and suggest ways in which academics, policy makers and globally networked content users can be brought into dialogue so as to generate better informed and more effective regulatory policies.
Beyond Domestic Borders: Transnational Mobility in the Making of Modern Korea, 1920-1945. The project offers a new perspective on gender and colonial history by examining crossborder movements and networks of women and men in and beyond East Asia in the early to mid-twentieth century. As war and terror flicker across our televisions, writers like Rushdie, McEwan and Hosseini have turned the novel into a global form, expressing a new humanitarian ethic. This project explores the makings of these World Novels across sites of ongoing global conflict, and traces their plea for sympathy back to the novel's beginnings, in the eighteenth-century.

Locating LGBTIQ+ youth in the archive: Telling new stories for belonging. This project aims to produce the first study of LGBTIQ+ youth in Australia’s past and investigate what these histories mean to LGBTIQ+ youth today. We will generate new knowledge of Australian LGBTIQ+ history and links between historical knowledge and wellbeing in relation to LGBTIQ+ youth.
