Photogrammetric Reconstruction for Underwater Virtual Heritage Experiences. This project aims to enable significant underwater cultural heritage sites such as shipwrecks to be recreated in immersive underwater virtual heritage experiences. Photogrammetric 3D reconstruction techniques will be used to generate complex digital 3D models of shipwreck sites from hundreds of thousands of underwater images. As DAAO increases its information base through its automated harvest facilities (LIEF2012) and draws more active engagement from researchers, new demands are being placed on the facility. Modifications are required to enhance the capabilities of researchers to expand the scope of research facilities offered. Preserving and reviving language and culture of Norfolk Island. The project will help revive the endangered Norfolk Island language, thereby strengthening the sense of identity of the Norfolk Islanders. It will help achieve greater visibility of the language through an exhibition, interpretive signage and production of educational resources. The training provided will open up employment opportunities in education and cultural tourism in a remote community.
