Earth and Ocean Informatics and Technology Network (EON-ITnet). Sustainable resource exploration and mining onshore, as well as marine planning, exploration, and defence depend on effective cross-disciplinary investigation, sharing of expertise and technologies for integration and computational analysis of multidimensional data spaces. Sustainable resource exploration and mining onshore, as well as marine planning, exploration, and defence depend on effective cross-disciplinary investigation, sharing of expertise and technologies for integration and computational analysis of multidimensional data spaces. EON-ITNET will cross-fertilise the use of artificial intelligence, advanced computing and smart information sharing for management, analysis, visualisation and metadata modelling between these traditionally separate research groups, with the outcome of improving research efficiency and lowering costs. CyberMate: using digital social media and Internet data to support mental health interventions in young Australians. This project will develop CyberMate, which is a novel automated psychological intervention based on data collected from social networks, personal diaries, natural language processing and machine learning techniques. The Internet-based intervention will be the first of its kind, helping young people affected by depression and other mental health issues.
Trusted business processes. This project aims to use conceptual design, process modelling and co-design approaches to create a structured approach for the management of trust. With a focus on business processes, it is intended to develop research- informed methods in order to (1) identify and specify trust concerns and opportunities, (2) model these within a common process modelling language and (3) propose patterns for how to mitigate trust concerns and how to benefit from opportunities. Classifying the indirect costs of information systems and information technology in business. Many businesses are increasing their expenditure on IS/IT to obtain a strategic competitive advantage. Traditional approaches to IS/IT appraisal are unable to accommodate the costs associated with deploying 'organisational-wide' IS/IT solutions because of their qualitative characteristics.
