Digital technologies such as smart phones, wearable devices, sensors and artificial intelligence have shown promise to improve human health. However, evidence that these technologies can improve health outcomes in people with heart disease is lacking. INFORM is a research project designed to improve services available for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) cancer patients. To achieve this, we are developing a communication aid intervention, which involves audio-recording key patient hospital consultations and Question Prompt List (QPL). In 1998, the Minnesota court ordered US tobacco companies to place over 30 million pages of hitherto secret internal documents on the www. Many thousands of these explicitly concern Australian tobacco control. This project will locate, catalogue, review and disseminate the strategic national, regional and international significance of these industry documents. Since the documents have been released, three legal cases have for the first time succeeded against the industry and the tobacco industry ....In 1998, the Minnesota court ordered US tobacco companies to place over 30 million pages of hitherto secret internal documents on the www. This project will locate, catalogue, review and disseminate the strategic national, regional and international significance of these industry documents. Since the documents have been released, three legal cases have for the first time succeeded against the industry and the tobacco industry agreed to a $US208 billion settlemnt with the US states -- the largest settlement in legal history. Detailed critical examination of industry documents addressing issues such as product formulation, health research, advertising and marketing, and political lobbying against tobacco control, holds great promise to provide unprecedented insights into local tobacco industry ambitions, research, marketing, public relations and lobbying activities, and counter-measures against tobacco control. These insights will be invaluable to public health scientists, policy advocates, lawyers and historians both in Australia and internationally. Summary
An estimated 150 million Indians have mental health disorders and the vast majority receive no care whatsoever. We have developed a solution to strengthen India's primary healthcare system comprising village-based anti-stigma campaigns, and a workforce strategy that leverages the skills of doctors and non-physician frontline workers through use of mobile health technologies. It will be tested in North and South India in a large-scale trial involving 44,000 people and 20 primary health centres.

Sexually transmitted infection rates have increased dramatically in recent years in Australia, with major health consequences - congenital syphilis is killing babies, chlamydia in females is causing pelvic inflammatory disease, increasing the risk of infertility, and drug-resistant gonorrhoea is an urgent global threat. Our specialist sexual health services are at capacity. We will develop an innovative online sexual health hub providing online testing and treatment for STIs and HIV.
