The integration of modelling and laboratory experiments on reservoir rock at reservoir conditions allow the efficient use of expensive reservoir core. Reliable cross-correlations and the understanding of the underlying mechanisms will aid the responsible development of Australia's tight gas, coal-bed methane, and geothermal energy resources.
