Modifications are required to enhance the capabilities of researchers to expand the scope of research facilities offered. Design and Art Australia Online: Sustainable data sharing for Australian researchers and collections. This project will produce a comprehensive and authorative research facility of national and international signi?cance. The enhanced Design and Art Australia Online facility will provide crucial information pertaining to Australia’s art and design heritage that will be open for researchers of all levels, from school students through to higher-education researchers.
Creative Antarctica: Australian Artists and Writers in the Far South. The project aims to make the rich history of Australian artists' and writers' engagement with Antarctica visible through an innovative combination of critical, curatorial, and qualitative research. It expects to generate new interdisciplinary knowledge of creative responses to the South Polar region. Anticipated outcomes include the first comprehensive history and analysis of the Antarctic stories, sounds, and images produced ....Creative Antarctica: Australian Artists and Writers in the Far South. Events through time: eruptions, extinctions, impacts, ore-bodies and orogenies - upgrading the national argon geochronology network. Nine universities and the CSIRO will replace aged and obsolete equipment with new mass spectrometers which will be strategically placed at opposite ends of our continent to improve access for Australian researchers to these instruments for which there is high demand.
