DAAO The Dictionary of Australian Artists Online. This project seeks funding for the development of a blueprint for an authoritative Dictionary of Australian Artists Online (DAAO). Based on a conceptual framework originated by Joan Kerr in her Dictionary of Australian Artists, the DAAO integrates existing online research with information updated continuously by editorial amendment from new entries generated in scholarly research. The research aims to improve outcomes for Aboriginal people with chronic disease, through strategies of care that address health system barriers. The project aims to understand barriers and then to develop, implement and evaluate appropriate models of care that incorporate policy development and engagement. The project is to incorporate research partnerships and Indigenous sector capacity development.

The aim of the project is to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with birth by informing health systems improvement in China. Mapping the health promoting capacity of art centres on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands. This project will identify the health promoting benefits of art centres managed by Ananguku Arts on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands. The project will identify the social health benefits derived from Art Centres such as increased income, employment opportunities, education, cultural maintenance and community governance.
Excessive sitting and population health: strengthening the science and the relevance to policy and practice. The majority of Australian adults spend most of their waking hours sitting; this increases the likelihood of developing diseases of inactivity, including diabetes, heart disease and some cancers. New research will investigate what factors encourage excessive sitting and what the health benefits are for people who deliberately do less sitting.
Caring for Cosmologies: Making Living Maps for West Miyarrka. This project aims to develop a new kind of digital mapping to document endangered forms of knowledge along a coastline under threat from climate change. The project expects to draw on unique Yolngu knowledge practices and representational systems - with traditional owners and managers guiding digital media experts, rangers and artists. Expected outcomes include: 1) expanded Indigenous research capacities and digital expertise; and, 2) ....Caring for Cosmologies: Making Living Maps for West Miyarrka. This project aims to develop a new kind of digital mapping to document endangered forms of knowledge along a coastline under threat from climate change.
