The project's aims will be realised through ethnographic studies of mobile work practice, representative use scenarios and the development of an empirically grounded conceptual framework that can guide the design of usable mobile applications.
The results will increase the successful utilisation of mobile technology by Australian industries.

Since 1990, governments, industry and civil society organizations have expressed growing interest in market-based instruments for environmentally sustainable development. Purchase of a Benchtop Triple Quadrupole Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer. This submission seeks funding to replace the existing 18 year old bench top gas chromatography/mass spectrometry instrument with a modern instrument, so providing the research community with a facility capable of meeting the increasingly more demanding analytical requirements of current research projects. Social futures and life pathways of young people in Queensland: waves 4 and 5 of a longitudinal study. This project assesses the impact of globalisation on the attitudes, behaviors, and life pathways of a cohort of over 7000 young Queenslanders, first surveyed when they were aged 12 and 13. Participants will be followed up when they are aged 19 and 20 and 20/21 to examine their experiences of the transition from school to work, family and social life.
