Work design is a crucial but neglected strategy for optimising health, for unleashing employee talent, and for creating agile and effective organisations. Anticipated outcomes include a new theory on the future of work, a national longitudinal study on how work design fosters critical human development, field interventions, and evidence-based collaboratory activities.
