This project aims to address diagnostic error in advanced technology systems, by providing a mechanism to assess and improve individual diagnosticians’ performance. This research tests a new method of assessing diagnostic skills based on how skilled operators respond to cues. Increasingly, pilots are required to work more flexible flight schedules that expose them to greater levels of work-related fatigue. The project intends to explore the challenges that Aboriginal families who have children with disabilities experience when living in remote communities. Living in a community with family supports is important for the wellbeing, health and spirituality of Aboriginal people in the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) lands.
