Ecological and genetic connectivity in seagrasses: the role of sexual reproduction, dispersal and recruitment on meadow restoration. This project's goal is to study the role of dispersal in contemporary demographics and genetics of an Australian seagrass genus Posidonia. The expected outcome of this project is to understand the importance of long-distance dispersal of seeds in determining resilience of seagrasses to both natural and anthropogenic disturbances.

It will identify the types of industry and social enterprises, potential employment and enterprise opportunities, and local organisations’ capacity to work with newly arrived migrant women in the context of socio-economic recovery from the COVID19 pandemic. Development of modern cultivars may be accompanied by a severe genetic bottleneck, whereby subsequent breeding efforts are hampered by lack of significant genetic variation within domesticated breeding material. Online Money and Fantasy Games - an applied ethnographic study into the new entrepreneurial communities and their underlying designs. Modern social and fantasy games using online money are multi-billion dollar business, but little is known about them, their developers, or impacts on privacy, identity and monetisation of relationships. This is the first study to investigate these concerns and to relate fieldwork results to the simultaneous building of a social gaming platform.
Imagining Poverty: conceptualising and representing poverty and the poor in mendicant inspired literature, preaching and visual art 1220-1520. This project explores understandings and representation of poverty, both voluntary and involuntary, in literature and art in Europe 1220-1520 that were inspired by mendicant (particularly Franciscan and Dominican) ideals. It will lead to a jointly authored study on the different ways poverty was understood and represented in this period.
