This facility will give Australian researchers the unprecedented opportunity to perform measurements of flow, mixing, temperature and composition fields in the gas and liquid or solid phases simultaneously. Compared to other Australians, Indigenous people from remote areas suffer disproportionately from kidney disease. In order to access treatment they must often relocate, sometimes permanently to urban areas. Communities advocate for services closer to home but most health providers see remote area delivery as prohibitively costly. The study will assess the relative cost-benefits of more patient-centered models of care that are inclusive of impacts on patients, families and communities.

Rheumatic heart disease (RHD) is a major health problem in Indigenous communities. Continued progress in controlling RHD requires an understanding of how to improve delivery of regular injections of penicillin - secondary prophylaxis (SP). We will evaluate a systems-based approach to improving delivery of SP, using a stepped-wedge trial in 12 communities in NT and Qld. If successful, this model will provide a practical and transferable model.

Summary
Prevalence of hepatitis C infection within the Aboriginal population is among the highest of any identifiable population in Australia. Highly effective, direct-acting antiviral (DAA) therapy, and their listing on the PBS in 2016 has revolutionised HCV clinical management in Australia. The SCALE-C study will evaluate an established test and treat model to rapidly scale-up DAA within four Aboriginal communities to determine both impact on community prevalence and ongoing transmission.
Integrating choice set formation and taste heterogeneity in market segmentation. This project develops a new model of consumer decision-making to provide managerial insights related to market segmentation, product portfolio optimisation and marketing communication strategies. The model can be specified for a particular product category using data collected from a novel elicitation instrument developed as part of this project.
