Funded Activity Summary

The project aims to assess the relative technical efficiency of five catchment areas of community mental health centres in the ACT. Mental health provision and utilisation indicators are used as inputs and outputs of the mental health system to evaluate its performance. The data are analysed through the Monte Carlo DEA model. This assessment enables decision-makers to better understand the ACT mental health system and simulate the effect of management interventions on the entire system.
