Funded Activity Summary

The general aim of this project is to assess new anticancer drugs and to determine what contributes to their cost, how well they work and their cost-effectiveness. Specific objectives include to systematically review recent evidence about the costs and cost-effectiveness of anticancer drugs, to perform cost-effectiveness analyses of expensive anticancer treatments based on data from clinical trials and to survey medical oncologists to determine their views on how treatment costs affect decision making.
